This John Derian x Astier de Villatte platter is a stunning addition to any dinnerware collection. Astier de Villattes ceramic pieces are handmade in Paris of black terracotta clay with their signature glossy white enamel glaze. They are intended to look rustic, each piece is unique, they are inspired by 18th and 19th century designs.The oval shape and medium size make it perfect for all occasions, while the white enamel glaze over black terracotta is very unique to John Derian. Measures 18 inches in length and 10 inches in width, this platter weighs 2 lbs. 13 oz. and is made in France. This piece is vintage and has never been used. I believe this is from the Regence pattern. I sold the 1st platter, this one is a touch wobbly (which is not uncommon of these pieces) and one is not.
