RARE huile sur toile - travail naïf damateur - représentant le VIADUC DU VIAUR à Tanus (Tarn).

Véritable DOCUMENT sur ce pont ferroviaire METALLIQUE permettant de relier Albi à Rodez, classé Monument Historique historique et en cours dinscription au PATRIMOINE MONDIAL de L UNESCO.

Il a été construit en 1902 par lingénieur Paul BODIN à lissue dun concours où figurait Gustave EIFFEL ( qui avait réalisé en 1884 le viaduc de GARABIT, le "plus haut du monde" à lépoque avec ses 122 mètres, mais le viaduc du Viaur nest pas en reste avec 116 mètres ).

Signé ( illisible ) en bas à gauche Dimensions 46 cm x 55 cm

N.B. La construction de ce viaduc a inspiré le peintre et décorateur Henri- Marcel Magne (voir dernière photo )
