This stained glass piece was created by the now-defunct American company Glass Masters and is based on the unicorn, the national emblem of Scotland.

Scotland and the white unicorn have a sacred bond; it is the national animal and symbol of Scotland.

Edinburgh Castle, which served as the residence of the Scottish Kings, still has the unicorn emblem embedded in a prominent place today.

It was made using the European lead-beam technique used in old European churches, which is rare among Glass Masters works. It is one of Glass Masters earlier works, and the texture of the glass seems to have more character than their later works.

The flat glass has an undulating surface, coloured with transparent enamel painting, and the frame is made of metal.

And because they are handmade and have been fired, the colour will not fade even over the years.

The original GLASSMASTERS lettering can be seen at the bottom of the frame.

When held up to the light, this stained glass is astonishingly beautiful, with elegant colors and presence.

This piece has a hole and a chain at the top for hanging on the wall, so it can be used for a variety of purposes.
