Oeuvre acquise en maison de vente. Un second tableau de Christiane Caillotin est proposé dans mes ventes. Belle cote.

Peintre de la vie familiale, elle utilise des techniques variées mêlant huile gouache et pastel, avec une palette claire et lumineuse.

Christiane CAILLOTIN artiste née à Coye-la-Forêt (Oise), au début du XXème siècle et formée par Adler, Bergès et Longa.
Elle est Sociétaire des Artistes Français et présentée au Salon dAutomne 1937 (Bénézit).
Elle obtient la médaille dor des Artistes Français en 1964. Certaines de ses oeuvres figurent dans des musées et plus particulièrement le Musée de lOise à Beauvais.
Elle peint souvent des scènes de plages, d'enfants, d'animaux utilisant des couleurs vives et très joyeuses.
Plus connu par ses gouaches sur carton il lui est aussi arrivé de
travailler la peinture à l'huile soit sur carton soit sur des panneaux en bois.
